Commissions are open at the moment.


I have been in this line of work for various years now, providing clients with luscious illustrations of their original characters.

Commission Terms of Service

Where the party Claudia Clemente is hereinafter referred to as “The Artist”; and where the Buyer agreeing to this Contract is hereinafter referred to as “The Commission Patron” or “The Patron”:

  1. All prices listed on this website (claudia-clemente.com) and all prices agreed to in writing are understood to be in American Dollars (USD).
  2. All commissions are to be paid to The Artist via Paypal (www.paypal.com). No other method of payment is accepted at this time.
  3. Payment is understood by all parties to be 50% of the agreed upon charge upfront, 50% upon final delivery.
  4. Final payment is due within 7 days of receipt of a digital copy of the final finished work. The Artist reserves the right to withhold any physical format commissions if final payment is not received within this time frame.
  5. The Artist reserves the right to file a dispute with Paypal if final payment is not received within 30 days of receipt of a digital copy of the final finished work.
  6. The original piece of art (physical format) and/or any prints can be delivered via postal service upon request, but at an additional cost of shipping and handling. Items can be shipped First Class (with a tracking number) if requested; this is also an additional charge.
  7. Physical format commissions will be mailed via Post upon receipt of final payment.
  8. Digital media will be emailed to the email address supplied by the The Commission Patron upon completion.
  9. All drawings have white backgrounds by default.
  10. Complex/Patterned backgrounds range in price from $5.00 USD and up, depending on complexity. To be negotiated and agreed upon in writing.
  11. The default resolution for all digital images is 72 DPI (perfect for internet viewing).
  12. The default resolution for all traditional images is 300 DPI.
  13. Commissions will be completed on a first-come-first-serve basis unless The Artist and The Commission Patron  agree to a specific deadline in writing.
  14. Artwork commissioned by The Commission Patron become the property of The Patron upon receipt of final payment; however The Artist reserves the right to retain a copy of any works produced for the purpose of self-promotion and may be included as example of The Artist’s work in her portfolio (digital and/or physical format).
  15. Prints and/or copies of any commissioned artwork paid for in full will never be resold without express written permission from The Commission Patron.
  16. The Artist will take commissions including risqué and BDSM themes, and tasteful nudity; but will not take commissions that include pornographic depictions. *
  17. The Artist holds the right to turn down any commission.

* What constitutes pornography?
I’ll go with the dictionary definition:

  • “Printed or visual material containing the explicit description or display of sexual organs or activity, intended to stimulate erotic rather than aesthetic or emotional feelings.”

Deadlines are somewhat discouraged, only because school is a priority.
